London is home a number of train stations serving different lines of service.

St. Pancras

St.Pancras International is a railway terminus in Central London. The station is managed by Network rail and Eurostar. It has 15 platforms and is in Travelcard Zone 1. East Midlands trains, First Capital Connect, Eurostar and Southeastern run across the station and Eurostar offers services to Lille, Paris and Brussels. London Underground Lines including Circle line, Hammersmith & City line, Metropolitan line, Northern line, Piccadilly line and Victoria Line serve the station. Writer Simon Cadler has described the station as 'the world's most wonderful railway station'.

Charing Cross

London Charing Cross is a major railway and underground station in London. The station is in Travelcard Zone 1 and Network rail manages operations of 6 platforms and the London Underground manages 4 platforms in the station. It is London's fifth busiest rail terminal and located close to the Embankment and The Strand. Underground operations are served by the Bakerloo line and the Northern Line and railway trains are run by Southern and Southeastern trains.

London Bridge

London Bridge Station is one of London's oldest railway and underground station in Southwark. This station is in Travelcard Zone 1 and has 15 platforms and is London's fourth busiest rail terminal. The underground station is on the Northern Line and Jubilee line. Overground services are offered by Thameslink, Southern Trains and South East Trains. This station is the major interchange for South London.

Waterloo

Waterloo Station is a railway terminus and underground complex in Lambeth. It is the busiest railway station in Britain and is in Travelcard Zone 1 with 19 platforms. The history of the station dates back to 1848 and is located close to the South Bank of River Thames. It is one of the busiest terminals in Europe and is served by South West Trains, Southeastern Trains and Eurostar. Bakerloo, Northern, Jubilee, Waterloo and City Lines serve the station.

Kings Cross

Kings Cross Station is a central London railway terminus managed by Network rail. The station was opened in 1852 and is located in Kings Cross district with 12 platforms. It is Travelcard Zone 1 and is the southern terminus of the East Coast Main Line. This station shares the underground complex with St Pancras station thus forming one of Britain's biggest transport hubs. First Hull Trains, East Coast, Grand Central, First Capital Connect and British Rail Eastern Region trains operate across the station. Circle, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria Lines serve the station.
