High pay scale being offered in the government organisations has always remained an impetus for people in India to join the government services. Most of the jobs in the Prasar Bharati, Indian army and even in BARC are well paid, as per the central government rules, which are perhaps the highest in the country, with respect to the state governments. Students, after finishing their education and even while in other jobs are putting in their applications for various jobs in central government organisations, due to various reasons. High pay scales, high status jobs and the progression in employment sector, all add up to become the reasons for them to seek employment in the government sectors.
