How One Can Run a Coordinated Campaign

If you want the market to see your company flag waving and stand tall among your peers, you must execute your campaign with a well coordinated manner and not just with promotional items only. This may sound easier than done. When I say well coordinated manner-I mean to say that a campaign that is properly planned backed by a conscientious thought involving all intricacies of marketing objective.

There are a few areas where you need to have a microscopic analysis in order to run a successful coordinated campaign. I will take you through the alleys of promotional campaigns which more often than not are overlooked and neglected like a step child.

Your marketing goal

It's in vain to figure out your promotional strategies with a vague marketing goal. If you say that your marketing team wants to increase the sale this quarter and plan to run your campaign with this, well! I can only pray for you. The same marketing objective will sound more strategic in case your marketing team gives you the details of increase sales like

· what product you to sale more

· whom will you sale

· by when you want to accomplish that

· by how much you want to see your sales figures climbing

Your market

Identifying your market is vital for any promotional activity. You must be aware of whom you are selling for and who may find interest in your service/products. For example if your business deals in women's apparel then you further need to know who among women prefer to use your brand. Age group, their preferences, styles and other specific nuances if there is any. Your promotional campaign, if can be designed as per these guidelines, there is no need you keep tossing in your bed all through the night.

Your audience

Not knowing the behavior of your market is detrimental to your coordinated campaign. For instance, your target audience is teens, so trying to reach them through a newspaper ad won't get you the kind of response you are expecting as these people most don't read newspaper. However, visiting college campus and schools will be more beneficial which can get you connected to them. Another important aspect of knowing your target segment is that you will be able to decide which promotional item will be appreciated in your domain.

Their likes & fulfilling those

Oblivious to the fact that most of the promotional items, if not found any usage among your target audience will very soon be found in the garbage bin, companies still prefer to stay with what they have selected rather than finding out what the audience likes are.

The last thing you might want to take care of is the delivery. And the delivery is nothing but the expectation that your customers have from you and your campaign. So next time your promotional campaign is lined up, make sure you implement the above mentioned strategic points to make it a coordinated one.
