Tailgating - A New All American Pastime

Tailgating is an exciting new pastime where people gather at various sporting events and enjoy different sorts of grilled meals. More and more people are spending their leisure time at tailgating parties, even if they do not have tailgate on their vehicle. The idea is just to have fun with friends and enjoy the social gathering. Tailgating parties are common at the parking lots of stadiums and arenas where people enjoy food before and after a game.

If you too are planning to attend a tailgating party, you might want to consider bringing a portable grill. There are many people who join the party without offering anything, but if you have your own equipment when you tailgate, you can enjoy the party more. People with culinary interests are especially going to love this type of party. Cooking hamburgers, hot dogs, brat's or steaks on your own portable grill and enjoying them with your friends before the big game is just the thing to add excitement to the event.

It is important that you get all the equipment ready before you head towards the party. A good tailgating portable grill is the most important item on your list of things to bring. This portable grill should be easy to carry around have wheels or fit easily on the tailgate of your pickup, SUV or station wagon. Also make sure that you have other important accessories such as enough fuel and a lighter to light the grill if it is not equipped with an electric starter.

To make the event even more enjoyable, you can acquire and use a three burner stove on your tailgate.

Another option would be to collaborate with your friends and share tailgating recipes to maximize your variety. Tailgating enthusiasts (known as "tailgater's") usually go for grilled food but you can also add other types of meals as well. It depends completely on your taste which tailgating recipes you choose and which camping stoves you opt for.

You will find "tailgater's" with a wide variety of camping stoves and portable grills. There are also many Novice "tailgaters" wanting join the tailgating party, these novices know very little about how to tailgate, but are willing to learn. So if you are just starting out there is nothing to be afraid of. You can feel free to experiment, learn from other "tailgaters" and maybe even add some new ideas to the party.
