The Most Important Marketer's Tool You Need To Have And The Difference It Can Make In Your Business

As a marketer there are several tools that you will run across online. Many people are feeling the crunch from the down economy. In this article you are going to learn exactly what the most important tool is and how to use it for most exposure.

This answer might not surprise you but the number one tool you need is an auto responder. Let me give you a scenario with two marketers to explain how incredibly important an auto responder is. We will call the first marketer Joe and the second marketer Bob.

Joe learns right when he started marketing that the power is in the list. The first thing that Joe does is he goes and buys an auto responder with a well-known e-mail marketing company. He sets up his first lead capture page and starts driving traffic to the page. The first thing that Bob learns online is that you need to drive traffic to a website to try to make sales. So Bob set up a website with a sales page and starts driving traffic to the page.

Each of these markers continue to market daily. They drive traffic to their website by different methods. Some of the traffic generation methods are article marketing, video marketing, search engine optimization and solo ads. Both of these marketers are just as dedicated in creating success with their Internet business.

One month later Bob has already started making sales online. Since he drives the traffic straight to the sales page he is able to get more people to see his sales page which provides more conversions. Joe also has made some sales but not as many as Bob. Joe has built up a list of a few hundred subscribers that open up his e-mails.

Six months down the line Joe has managed to outsell Bob because he has earned the trust of a few thousand subscribers. The whole time Bob has sent people straight to the sales page but has not been able to keep people coming back to his website. Bob has to keep driving traffic to his sales page because he does not have a group of subscribers to communicate to on the backend.

Joe has been focused on providing value to his subscribers and building his subscribers list bigger and bigger. Over the last six months Joe focused on driving traffic to his lead capture page. Joe has given continuous valuable information that will his list solve their problems in their lives. Joe emails twice a day which gives him massive exposure.

The moral of the story is to always be focused on building a list with your auto-responder to build trust with your visitors on the backend.
