Carolyn entered the dating scene in 1976, met her husband-to-be in 1996, and after being married for six years, had her first child in 2006. Twenty years on the dating scene and eleven years of marriage have given her many insights into relationships. Having experienced the pain of breakups many times over the years, she feels a special empathy for others going through the same struggle. The subject of relationships and particularly the topic of retrieving lost love is a topic near and dear to her heart. Twenty years is a long time to get it right, so by writing about the subjext she hopes to shorten the learning curve for others.
