As a graduate of Florida Atlantic University's College of Architecture, Urban and Public Affairs who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Criminal Justice and a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration, Gerald Henry is a Senior Zoning Code Enforcement Officer in Broward County, Florida with over 15 years experience in the field of Code Compliance Inspections and Enforcement.

Gerald Henry is a graduate of the Academy for Strategic Management at the Metropolitan Center at Florida International University in Miami, Florida who maintains the Certified Code Enforcement Professional (CEP) designation from the University of Central Florida and the Florida Association of Code Enforcement. He also earned the designation of Certified Customer Service Professional (CSP) from Barry University and was selected as a Quality Improvement Team Coordinator for the implementation of the Administrative Citations Program for the City of Coral Springs, winner of the 1997 and 2003 State of Florida Governor's Sterling Award and Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, 2007.

Mr. Henry has received numerous employment service awards and recognitions including the City of Coral Springs Award of Recognition for Service on the Employee Relations Committee, 2006; Award of Excellence as Assistant Elections Field Supervisor, 2002; Broward County Vision Award, 2000; National Association of Counties Achievement Award, 1998; Atlanta 100 United States Olympic Committee Award of Recognition, 1996; and South Florida Manufacturing Association Recognition of Excellence, 1995.

Mr. Henry has extensive training in zoning inspection and code enforcement investigation and has processed thousands of zoning and various code compliance cases in Broward County Florida, and is a member of the Florida Sheriff's Association, Florida Association of Code Enforcement, International Indoor Air Quality Commission, Indoor Air Quality Association, International Code Council and the National Association of Investigative Specialists.
