Michael V Sclafani

Michael Sclafani is Founder and President of Integrated Advancement a full service nonprofit resource development consulting firm. Michael has held leadership positions at major colleges and universities including Columbia University's Teachers College, Seattle University School of Law and Pace University where he oversaw annual and President's Society giving for six school and colleges. Michael has led mission critical fundraising and communication projects with a variety of nonprofits including museums, arts organizations, and social service agencies.

Michael has extensive experience recruiting, training and coaching volunteers at all levels from museum greeters to board members. He believes when provided the right tools,volunteers are an essential element in an organization's advancement.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Michael lends his time as a volunteer with several K-12 Parent Teacher Associations helping them create meaningful sustainable fundraising programs. He also serves on the board of QLaw the GLBT Bar Association of Washington State. In that capacity he oversees the mentoring program, pairing experienced attorneys with law students.

Michael recently completed Social Justice Advocacy training at Seattle University. He holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration - Nonprofit Management from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor's Degree from Marietta College, where he majored in Political Science and Secondary Education. Experience as a student caller for the Marietta College Phonathon inspired Michael to pursue a career in Advancement.
