My husband Ed Stephens and I launched in 2007, after consistently compiling information for family members who were diabetic. We recognized that this need had to be broader the world over. Being both of us chemical engineers, with backgrounds in product development for large national companies such as Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay and Avon; we decided to create a website that would contain dietary and nutritional information in addition to products for diabetics, everything from shoes and cookware to meters and portion-controlled dinnerware. We wanted a one-stop shop for people who have diabetes - a life-style store.

Our Mission: To create easy, whole life solutions for Diabetes .

We remain committed to the goal of driving easier access to information and solutions about the ways and means to manage diabetes to more and more people around the world.

We have taken our passion and focus about nutrition and healthy eating into developing stylish portion control solutions for anytime and anywhere. That brand is called Precise Portions and can be found at

We look forward to many more years of continued innovation and providing unique solutions to help ease the way to effectively manage or prevent Type 2 Diabetes the world over.
