I run the Global Sherpa blog and website that develops awareness and knowledge of current issues in international development, globalization, urbanization and foreign affairs. Authors can submit articles for publication on Global Sherpa to expand their audience and help promote international learning and cross-cultural collaboration. Global Sherpa can also provide consulting, marketing, research, and writing services to NGO's, small businesses, government agencies, and other organizations.

Topics covered on the site include foreign aid and international development, the environment, urbanization, global health issues, and oddly true world news. The site also analyzes various world rankings from sources like the UNDP's Human Development Report (HDR) and Index (HDI), the Legatum Prosperity Index, and global Environmental Performance Index.

From a more personal perspective, I have always been naturally curious about international events and different cultures and looked for ways to share this interest with others. I love to travel and lived abroad in Japan and the U.K. (I am from the U.S. and live in Chicago.) I studied and worked in Kyoto for a couple of years thanks to the Bing Overseas Study Program at Stanford University.

I would love to hear any comments you have about Global Sherpa or any leads to related content on the web or elsewhere. Over time, I hope the site will become a catalyst for learning and collaborative projects that will help spread the interest in world affairs and promote international understanding, development, and well-being.

In case it is of interest or use in initiating connections, I completed an M.A. in International Policy Studies and a B.A. in International Relations at Stanford. I just could not get enough school, so I went back to get an M.B.A. in Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Thanks to the Booth International Business Exchange Program (IBEP) and the London Business School International Exchange Programme (IEP), I am also lucky to be an LBS alum.

Please reach out and contact me through the Global Sherpa site contact forms with any comments, recommendations, project ideas, or irresistible offers.
