Hi there, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, type 1 way back in 1982. Since then I have spent a lot of time researching the disorder. That information, plus a lot of help from people who care about me, has taught me how to manage the disorder. Having achieved this has enabled me to regain control of my life. I am pleased to say that I have not experienced a bipolar episode since 1997. Like a number of people who have achieved similar results I am keen to pass on my experiences to others who would like to learn how to manage their bipolar disorder. To feel that I have been able to achieve this would give me a great deal of personal satisfaction.
