Dr. Rebecca Keller, a mom and a home school teacher, earned a PhD in biophysical chemistry from the University of New Mexico. For years, Dr. Keller worked in the areas of biophysics, molecular biology and neuroscience. She also home schooled her three children for 14 years in her Albuquerque, New Mexico home. When she could not find textbooks that excited her kids about science, she decided it was time to create her own.

Dr. Keller founded Gravitas Publications and wrote the hugely popular REAL SCIENCE-4-KIDS home school science curriculum. But she hasn't stopped there. Today Dr. Keller continues to write science books and is currently working on a new science textbook series that brings chemistry, biology, physics, astronomy and geology to kids of all learning levels, from kindergarten to high school age.
