Fifty-plus years in the retail beauty fashion,TV, magazine, hair and cosmetics industries has provided a treasure trove of interesting facts and information to write about. In 1981 I opened my first retail store with a nationally registered cosmetics and skin care artist signature line, Holly Cosmetics. I launched my first online business in 1997.

Having appeared on over 100 TV and radio shows and, being chronicled by numerous news articles, I quickly become an industry leader in the field of Medical Image Consulting and paramedical makeup. As a member of the National Speakers Association, I have traveled nationally as a speaker, trainer and medical image consultant (a term I coined) to the medical community regarding the side effects of Alopecia, chemotherapy, radiation and burn survivor recovery. I also served as the Medical Image Editor for The National Hair Journal US and Pacific Rim, a trade publication for two years.

Over the past twenty years I have been a regular article contributor, Stylist and makeup/beauty Stylist for a regional magazine, Today's Woman resulting in over 300 published articles and 150-plus fashion layouts and magazine covers.

In 2010 I retired from the retail world to focus on my online business projects. In the fall of 2011 I launched an online magazine, the HRO Report and published two books on Amazon . My newest project is the recently launched medical image websites, Holly's Hair Loss and Medical Image Products.

My passion is writing about and developing solution based products and results for any type of image problem. Personally living with Alopecia Universalis for the past thirty-five years has taught me how to make things work when it comes to image. I look forward to all and any questions. If I do not know the answer right off, I will find it for you, my readers and of course, me.
