In December 1985, after a two year journey to show his twelve year old daughter Christianity was for uneducated, feeble minded folks, Michel A. Bell surrendered his life to Jesus. Today his life goal is, as the Lord leads, teach biblical stewardship of time, talents and money, and preach God's Word. Married to Doreen in 1970, they have two children and five grand children. Michel and Doreen lived in Jamaica, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the USA. Today they live in Ontario, Canada.

Named an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow in 1975, he holds a Masters of Science degree in Management from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T). He is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK, has published several articles, and authored five books: four on money and one on time. His latest book, The New Managing God's Money-The Basics, is available in French as, Mes finances, Ses resources.

Michel held many senior finance, strategy, management, and planning positions in the Alcan Inc. group, including Regional Vice President Finance and Legal for Alcan's Pacific subsidiary, and Chief Financial Officer for Alcan's worldwide bauxite and alumina group. In July 2002, after an exciting, enjoyable, and productive 32-year career, he left Alcan as Vice President Business Planning for this group to become full-time president of the private, Christian, non-charity organization, Managing God's Money, which he started five years earlier.

A frequent guest on radio and TV, he has appeared several times on CTS TV's 100 Huntley Street. Weekly during 2005, Michel presented "Money Matters" on 100 Huntley Street. And in fall 2008, he presented several commentaries on the credit crisis. Currently, He appears monthly on CTS' Full Circle. As well, he has been on a Focus on the Family radio broadcast. On request, Michel preaches God's Word at various churches worldwide.

Michel is a visiting faculty at Briercrest College and Seminary, Caronport, Saskatchewan, and Capernwray New Zealand. He loves business and is committed to teaching students to integrate their faith in their professional lives.
