Elizabeth McMillian, PhD, is an author, art historian and a former Architectural Digest editor. Following teaching part-time at her grad school alma mater, University of Southern California, and starting Southland Magazine, McMillian consults, designs and develops residential projects from Los Angeles, California, and Real del Mar, BCN, Mexico. She now enjoys writing about her personal interests and useful fabulous finds, as much as she has in writing about art, architecture and design in her many articles, published in magazines like Veranda, and in her six books, produced by various publishers--Rizzoli, Thames and Hudson, and Schiffer.
