Quit smoking in 1977 and took up running. Nine months later ran first marathon. Saw first Ironman on T.V. in 1982. It was the Kona Ironman. The pull was irresistible and just had to do that crazy race. Learned how to swim in 1983 and crossed the Hawaii Ironman finish line in Kona in 1984. Went on to enter 14 Ironman races. Wrote "Ironstruck...The Ironman Triathlon Journey" in 2006 and it looks like it is on its way to being a best seller. In July 2008 completed second triathlon book. Ironstruck? 500 Ironman Questions and Answers." Legal Registration of Inonstruck complete and sole proprietorship company formed.
