Prior to forming the Law Offices of Lin & Wood, Ryan C. Wood was the former Managing Attorney for the San Francisco and San Jose offices of one of the largest consumer bankruptcy law firms in the United States. Mr. Wood then served as the Staff Counsel for David Burchard, the Chapter 13 Trustee for the Santa Rosa and San Francisco Divisions of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. As Staff Counsel for Mr. Burchard, Mr. Wood conducted Section 341 meeting of the creditors, confirmation hearings and litigated abuses of the bankruptcy process. There are few consumer bankruptcy attorneys in the Bay Area with this experience.
