Minnisha DeGrate [Williams] is the CEO and Founder of Tankum's Legacy; she is a full time writer, Webmaster, Internet Marketing Researcher, and Co-CEO of L&R HR Consulting and Staffing Service. Minnisha also travels and dedicates time to motivational speaking; she strives to encourage others through compassionate works. She says "Our objective is simple at Tankum's Legacy, our business is Life". DeGrate has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tarleton State University, the place where she developed her skills in career services while earning her degree. Minnisha has experience in writing and critiquing resumes for both undergraduate and graduate level job seekers, mock interviews, organizing and managing job fairs, and establishing professional relationships with established corporations and organizations. Minnisha was selected for an internship with State Representative Jim Dunnam in Austin, Texas while the House was in session. She also has experience as a Resident Advisor, Orientation Advisor, and researching Intern for the Office of Judicial Affairs. After earning her college degree and before starting her own business, Minnisha was employed as an Educator for the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children. DeGrate is a natural humanitarian, delegator and leader on both a personal and professional level. She has aided over 5,000 college students with their registration and transition into college life. As a founding mother of Tarleton's first multicultural sorority she prides herself in being a part of diversity driven environments, as she believes each of us all have something unique to offer. DeGrate has been a Certified Crime Victims Advocate for 5 years, and has served thousands of hours in volunteer services for crime victims and children. Minnisha has served as a committee member for the nation's largest non-profit organization in the world, the American Cancer Society. Aiding in raising over 0,000.00 towards cancer research, as a result she was chosen to serve as County Chair Person for Colleges Against Cancer's Relay For Life in 2008-2009. Among the many hats Minnisha has the pleasure of wearing, she is probably one of the most spiritual people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. There is a lot to be learned from such a tenacious individual; I've certainly learned my share. You can learn more about DeGrate and her recently published memoir "I Lost My Mind and Found God on the Way There".
