Author Cherrye S. Vasquez is a public school administrator and an adjunct professor. She is a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum & Instruction; a Master of Education in Special Education; and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology/Audiology. Vasquez specializes in Multi-cultural education and holds certifications in Early Childhood Handicapped, Mid-Management and Educational Diagnostician.

Vasquez spends lots of time writing and blogging about her platform topics: Diversity and Bullying issues. Vasquez holds firm that since we live in a multicultural society, our children should become more diversified and learn about one another's similarities and differences. Vasquez believes that when our children learn to care for, and become considerate of one another's unique talents and traits perhaps the bullying pandemic that we are currently facing in our nation's schools will decrease.
