The sky has a lot of fascinating colors up there just waiting for you to look at. The Orion 8 Astrograph will let you get up close and personal with the sky. Imagine looking at a dot in the night that looks so far away. When you look through the telescope you can see the dot is actually a comet making its way across the night sky. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to walk on the moon? You may not be able to enjoy a walk on it but, you can see what the surface looks like. Let the imagination go a little and you can play like you are an explorer making your way across the surface as you slowly scan the area through the telescope.

Features of the Orion 8 Astrograph

The Orion 8 Astrograph has many different features worth mentioning. When looking at objects sometimes things will look a little fuzzy. Since you are totally fascinated with what you are looking at the last thing you want to do is take your eyes off of it in order to focus. That is why there is actually hand knobs attached to the lens. The knobs can easily adjust everything into focus so nothing is missed.

When looking through a telescope there is nothing more frustrating than having a reflection on the lens. This just distracts the eyes from concentrating on the object in the sky. The Orion 8 Astrograph is made with nine baffle rings that are precisely positioned for keeping the reflections away.

When thinking about everything this telescope has to offer you would think it would be extremely heavy. As technology gets better there is more room being made for perfection and items are made lighter. At only 17.5 pounds it can go with you everywhere. Even with all the accessories attached it still only weighs in at a whopping 21.8 pounds. The whole thing is only 30 inches long which means there are more places it can be attached so you can get the perfect view or even pictures!

You may not know about the sky though and what you are looking at so you are totally lost when looking around. This is not a problem just insert the Starry Night SE software and get ready to learn. Sit back and relax while learning where exactly each planet can be located. Even learn where the different constellations can be located. Once the tour is over then grab the Orion 8 Astrograph and locate everything that was just taught.

The telescope even comes with some extra accessories. There is a finder scope that is 9 by 50, battery pack, accelerator fan for cooling, and a mounting plate that is a dovetail just to name a few. When the accessories are added to the telescope everything will sit nicely in place and there is no worry about something falling off. What will you see through the Orion 8 Astrograph? Get ready to fall in love with the night sky and all the details that lie before your eyes!
