Essential oil enriches your home with aromatic flavors and also it is used for natural healing. Let's talk about some common aromatic essential oils, which you can use at your home for air refreshment or for healing purposes.

If I had to point out the best oil for cleansing the air at home, I would say that citrus oils are the best for that. Lime, mandarin, orange and lemon - any of these essential oils will make your mind much brighter.

If you use it with oil lamp - it improves overall atmosphere at home. In addition, it doesn't only create a nice aroma at home, it helps you to clear your mind and forms a positive attitude to life. Especially lime oil - it even helps in situations like anxiety or depression.

Mandarin oil can be used to lower the feeling of loneliness. Also as a toner. Lemon oil can be used to treat herpes and all kinds of fears or apathy. Orange oil aroma keeps you calm and reduces tension.

Almost every essential oil (they are also known as etheric oils) have antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic qualities. Tea tree oil is not an exception. Everyone should have tea tree essential oil at home, because it could be used as a natural skin treatment, like treating pimples, blotches and postules.

Using it with oil lamps, tea tree oil helps your immune system to fight against infections that come through air. It can help with influenza, cold sores, catarrh, glandular fever and gingivitis.

Tea tree is very good for a massage course and may help to fortify your body and reduce post-operative shock. It not only has superb anti-infectious properties, it is the most effective essential oil to help clearing bronchial sinusitis, coughs, asthma, whooping-cough, congestion, and tuberculosis.

Lavender oil should be a part of your medical kit too. It can be used to reduce overall body tension. Besides it has antidepressant qualities. Lavender oil tones and revitalises skin. In addition, it is one of the few essential oils that can be used neat on the skin, so it is especially useful for treating minor burn wound. You can use it as a minor UV ray blocker and also it has antioxidant qualities.

Lavender oil is useful for all types of skin problems such as oily skin, boils, burns, sunburn, wounds, acne, lice, insect bites, stings, psoriasis, abscesses, and it also acts as an insect repellent.

It is also great for relieving pain, so it is used for rheumatism, arthritis, lumbago and muscular pains, especially those associated with sport.
