Anxiety and Panic Attacks - 4 Fantastic Tips to Remember

April 12, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 200

I know how it feels to be helpless. Frozen with panic and anxiety. Sweating. Cold clammy hands, shivering. It's awful! Seems like the vicious cycle of terror will never end right? WRONG. You CAN be panic-free. Let me share with you 4 GREAT tips to get fast relief.

Tip #1: What the Mind can conceive, the Body can achieve

Your mind is a powerful agent for combating panic attacks and anxiety. Learn how to properly utilize it. It will aid the body in overcoming these debilitating conditions. Practice meditation. Do some yoga. Breathe slowly. You'd be amazed how these simple exercises will help break the cycle.

Tip #2: Clear the Fear Response

Avoid going into automatic response mode whenever faced with situations that trigger anxiety and panic attacks. Take control. RESIST the urge to revert back to that beaten path that leads to the attacks. Remember, you are a strongly willed person. Say it over and over every time you feel anxious. This will do wonders. TRY IT.

Tip #3: After the Attack, Calm the Body

Don't be in a hurry to spring into action. Your body will be in restoration mode for some time. Consume some natural tea; avoid stimulating elements like smoking cigarettes and coffee. Let the soothing process take effect. Reading magazines and watching TV are excellent. Don't start any circumstances that will bring up your stress again. Remember, the body needs some time to recuperate. Mental stress takes a lot longer time to recover than physical stress. Be patient.

Tip #4: Success Breeds Success

When anxiety first struck me, I was totally lost. I Thought I was the only one on the planet having these "strange sensations." Now, thanks to the internet, you can tap into THOUSANDS of success stories with a just couple of clicks. This is VERY POWERFUL. Knowing that you're not alone. Knowing that people have been there, and came out the other way winning. If we could do it, so can you! These don't require any pill nor are expensive! they're actually free! what more can you ask?

Anxiety is NOT a mental illness. It's a (bad) PHYSICAL response. Remember that your body is your best friend. Its #1 goal is to KEEP YOU ALIVE & WELL. Apply these 4 simple tips and be ready to break the vicious cycle! ACT NOW. The choice is yours. Live a free life or be a prisoner forever!
