Anger and Domestic Violence

May 22, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 111

People who are suffering from anger management problems are likely to inflict physical and/or verbal abuse on the people close to them, such as their children or their partners.

These people are suffering from antisocial disorders and personality disorders and they can also suffer form paranoia, schizophrenia, psychopathic disorders, histrionic, sociopath disorders, bipolar disorder, attention deficit disorder etc.

People suffering form these problems are passive aggressive and are prone to outbursts due to their lack of anger management skills and are very commonly abusive in relationships.

Anyone in this category is very dominant and, if the other person does not accept them as dominant, then they try to enforce their dominance with their behavior. This can be by inflicting their victim, which is most commonly their spouse, with physical, mental and verbal abuse.

People with antisocial disorders are often under the influence of substance abuse as well and have no regard for the rules and regulations of society.

These people have developed anger to such an extent that there is no way back for them. They are set in their angry ways and they are quite happy with what they have become.

They love to tease, humiliate, intimidate, abuse verbally and physically and feel happy and satisfied when they inflict misery on people around them. This is their form of anger management.

In social circles, these people project themselves as very cool and charming people and most of the time people are attracted towards them. This is the point where these people are falling prey to their angry mind.

With the outer charm and charisma of their personality they attract people, and when an association is made they reveal their sick dominant mind to the other person. If they face retaliation then they explode and inflict the full force of their anger on their prey.

In their rage and fury they can even kill people and they have no regrets, but may actually have the urge to kill again. This is almost their form of anger management.

There are many people around us who have such personality disorders so we have to be very careful when we make new relationships and should only make new associations with initial caution and care.

The majority of the time these killers are not caught by the police because the wildness of their anger is reserved for their prey. To the rest of the world they are as charming as ever. There are various serial killers who play with the lives of other people and they never accuse themselves of doing wrong or inhuman acts.

The anger of these people is most dangerous for other people because they have mastered their negative anger with their own form of anger management. Even if their lives are anger driven they are in control of their actions.

In the end, I will just say to be careful in making associations with people who are antisocial and if you are in a relationship with such a person, leave him/her as soon as possible for your own sake and safety.
